Wine Country Unites - A Call to Action in Honor of Evelyn Dieckhaus
Evelyn Dieckhaus was a bright and joyful 9-year-old - curious, creative, and full of light. She was killed in the tragic Covenant School shooting in Nashville on March 27, 2023. In her honor, Wine Country Unites is committed to advancing bipartisan, commonsense gun laws that protect children and families across the country. This work is personal, urgent, and rooted in hope.
This campaign will raise funds for GIFFORDS, a non profit organization dedicated to saving lives from gun violence. Led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, GIFFORDS shifts culture, changes policies, and challenges injustice, inspiring Americans across the political spectrum including gun owners, survivors and business leaders, across the country to fight gun violence.
GOAL: Raise $100,000 in support of gun violence prevention efforts.
How to Participate:
Wineries donate $10 of every bottle sold on Saturday 10/25 to GIFFORDS. Can be any bottle sold, or bottles sold from a selection of available SKUS. We will also provide collateral with QR codes for additional donations. Sales can be in a tasting room, online, or both.
Restaurants and Bottle Shop Retail donate $10 of every bottle sold on Saturday 10/25 to GIFFORDS. Can be any bottle sold, or bottles sold from a selection of available SKUS. We will also provide collateral with QR codes for additional donations.
Others can donate a percentage of sales or have collateral with QR codes for additional donations.
