Colomba at A16

Namesday Bakery, St. Helena

Colomba Pasquale drops each Wednesday through Easter at A16 Ferry Building.

Colomba is a traditional panettone-style bread made for Easter; named for, and whose shape is inspired by, a dove. This year’s special bake has Candied orange, candied lemon, almond, honey, orange and lemon zest.

St. Helena’s Alex Lovick painstakingly handcrafts each beautiful loaf of this obsession-worthy, light as a cloud, heavenly bread.

There will be small numbers of Alex’s Colomba available at Chestnut and Rockridge. First come, first served, or guarantee your allotment by special order by emailing info@a16sf.com .

How to slice it?

Ever wondered how to slice a Colomba?  (Speaking from experience, ours never last long enough to slice it.)
